I'm Melissa - Mel for short. I'm the hands and the heart behind Shello by Mel. What started as an "I bet I can do that" hobby has turned into a therapeutic and creative side hustle. That, quite frankly, I want to spend all my hustle on, not just something I do with my 'side' time. My passion for the beach, the salt and the sand of Naples, Florida has grown into a love for transforming nature's little treasures into one-of-a-kind coastal creations. Every piece is thoughtfully handcrafted with love, inspired by the sea, and made to bring a little coastal joy into your home. Thank you, each and every one of you, for being a part of this journey.

Every Shello creation begins with a little inspiration and a whole lot of love.

From hand-selected seashells to carefully chosen colors and finishing touches, I create each piece individually. Some are inspired by treasures I find along the Naples shoreline; others begin with a special idea or custom request.

I love the little details that make each creation unique—beautiful imperfections, unexpected colors, a touch of gold, and the joy of making something that feels truly personal.

Living in Naples, Florida means some of my favorite treasures are waiting right outside our door.

I love walking the beach, searching the sand, and getting lost in the joy of discovering shells perfectly shaped by the sea. Some are imperfect, some have the most beautiful colors, and each one has its own little story.

Those beach walks are where so much of my inspiration begins. I bring that love of the coast into every Shello creation, turning simple treasures into soemthing you can enjoy, gift, and keep.
